OUR STORY

Asia Asset Recovery Pte Ltd (AAR), established in 2002, is a leading Singapore-based asset recovery and recycling company with operations in the Philippines. Specializing in the collection, disposal, and resale of used equipment and furniture, AAR serves government sectors, educational institutions, and major businesses. Certified by the NEA, AAR offers robust recycling, upcycling, data destruction, and asset recovery solutions.

AAR holds ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and bizSAFE STAR certifications, ensuring high-quality, environmentally friendly, and safe operations. They aim for zero landfill by repairing, refurbishing, and reusing equipment without compromising data security. This approach minimizes waste, conserves resources, and reduces energy usage in production and transportation.

Our Milestones

1991: Establishment

First established as Xport Equipment and Machines, trading used goods and reconditioning equipment before reselling them. Quickly obtained the Secondhand Goods Dealers Licence.

1992: Expansion

Expanded client base to include the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and Singapore Airlines.

1993: Public Recognition

Featured in a newspaper article by 联合晚报, highlighting our growing presence in the industry.

1995: Relocation and Expansion

Relocated multiple times, finally settling on Clementi Road. Opened a shop in Sim Lim Square, dealing in computers and computer parts.

2002: Incorporation and Specialization

Rebranded and incorporated as Asia Asset Recovery Pte Ltd. Specialized in reusing, refurbishment, reconditioning, and repair of e-waste. Expanded operations into the Philippines with a dedicated office.

2003: Auction Services

Began outsourcing auction warehouse services, managing consignments and auctions.

2004: Service Expansion

Extended range of services to include asset recovery and disposal, and the purchase and sale of industrial machinery and equipment such as forklifts, automation equipment, workshop machinery, and laboratory testing equipment.

2009: New Headquarters and Certifications

Completed a new state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance operations. Achieved ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and BizSafe Level 3 for occupational health and safety.

2014: New Outsourcing Model

Launched a new outsourcing model leveraging various channels such as email, social media, and partners' existing networks.

2015: Environmental Certification

Achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification for the environmental management system (EMS).

2018: Occupational Health and Safety Accreditation

Attained ISO 45001:2018 accreditation for its occupational health and safety management system.

2020: Additional Certifications

Secured bizSAFE STAR certification and Lloyd’s Register Certificate of Approval.

2021: Waste Collection License

Received the NEA General Waste Collector’s Licence

(Class A).
